May - December (Dry Season)
At this time the weather will be pleasant and dry with cooler temperatures (20–26°C). Low humidity and minimal rainfall make it ideal for outdoor activities including beach relaxation, water sports, hiking, and exploring nature reserves. June to August: Cooler temperatures, excellent for windsurfing and kite surfing. September to December: Warmer weather, ideal for snorkeling and diving as water visibility improves.
January - April (Summer/Rainy Season)
The weather will be hot and humid (25–33°C), with frequent but short rain showers. Cyclone season peaks between January and March, although major storms are rare. This time of year is great for scuba diving, as marine life is abundant. However, hiking may be less enjoyable due to higher humidity. There are also likely to be fewer tourists and lower prices for villas and flights.
